The African American Research Library and Cultural Center featured its second Africana Arts and Humanities Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this weekend. The event included a local author panel.

Authors featured included Rohan Anderson (Poetry | The Poet speaks:We Travel This Way), Joshua Buron (Photography | Good Jeans and Brown Suga), Dana Gradaya Farrell (Fiction | If It Wasn’t for the Orange Grove), Debra Lesane (Poetry | The Buried Secrets Society), Will Loiseau (Memoir | Young at Any Age: Secrets to Slowing the Aging Process), and Smith

Dr. Ramona La Roche, Head of Adult Information Services, moderated the panel discussion. Authors shared their writing genre selections, processes, and experiences working with the Broward County Library Local Authors Program.
